This 3rd Gen. Corn that they are logging averages about 3.6 to a load
Hallback,
I admire that you have the awareness and perspective to understand the market you are working in.
I've had clients in years past that saw what was happening and just parked all their gear and worked in construction until some sanity returned. I like the term "Corn" to describe the current size of trees harvested.
Is there any export anymore from state and federal land or is that all private timber?
Somewhat OT, did one of your lowboys take a Linkbelt over to Eastern Washington Tuesday? As we were headed East, saw the lowboy and wife who scouts names for me as I drive said the truck was labeled Pacific, similar script to what we see in some of your photos. It was yellow and she thought it might be a Pete. She just doesn't have the quick eye and traffic was heavy so I couldn't gawk myself...Delivery day?
Lil Tiger looks pretty fresh & shiny!
