Hey everyone,
Got a D10T, serial# RJG00480

Got a 1999 Chevy bucket truck with a cat 3126b in it, been fairly reliable. Went to start it two days ago and just got click. Removed starter, starter spins outside truck. So I turn the engine over by hand, engines not locked up. So hail mary I throw the starter back in, starts the truck right...
Brand new starter, connecting positive and negative cables like a “standard” starter, the pinion gear moves out but doesn’t spin. Is there a different way these are wired on this Takeuchi? Does someone have the wiring diagram available for this starter system?
I've been trying to start my Backhoe to no avail. I hear clicking at the starter but it won't crank. Batteries are new and charged. I looked at the troubleshooting manual and became confused. It states:
"Listen for “click” from starter
solenoid. If “click” is not heard, the
starter control...
Hi all, this is my first post. I've had a 1970(?) 580ck for a few years now, but I am working on my 2nd starter replacement. The first replacement about 5 years ago led to me replacing it right away because it was fluid was pouring out of the cone. I quickly swapped it out with a similar model...
I'm getting rrr sound, "just whines no cranking or clicking" when turning the start switch.
It seemed the starter wasn’t engaging the flywheel.
Then did a bunch quick turning of the switch, back and forth, got it working.
Ran the machine a few hrs. Turned it off, tried starting it again...
Have a customer that has a D6C 76a Dozer, Engine number (7M4400) and housing number (5m7844). He bought the dozer with no starter in it as the previous owners were still working on it. Need help finding the correct PN for starter as he has had no luck with multiple starters, serial number for...
I have owned a 1998 Ford New Holland 555E for 3.5 years and it has always been a pain in the ass to start. Even with a new & freshly charged battery it would almost never start just turn over very slowly. It would need extra boost from jumper cables or a starter box to actually turn over fast...
Hey all,
Looking for some help on our John Deere 310g Backhoe.
Backhoe started and ran for a few days, when we shut it down for the day and went to start the next morning, the starter would fire but not stay engaged. We figured the batteries were dead, we charged them up still no good. we...
I got a 214eS4 2k hrs, rebuilt engine(4hr) and making this post to get advice on anything I should check/monitor.
As of right now known issues.

2.when pointing the ho straight...
I recently purchased an H80 and was wanting to know if anyone knows if the starter is a wet starter. When I fill the transmission up fluid comes out of the starter solenoid as the starter is a unsealed version like on a truck. I don't have the engine manual so I cant reference the starter part...
Hello,
New guy here, trying to figure out an issue with our 2007 Cat 315CL excavator. We have been unable to start it for a while now and need some help as I have reached the extent of my knowledge on these machines, I have a background in automotive work but new to heavy equipment.

Hi all,
Anyone out there got some experience with this loader?
Went out to start er up yesterday and got a bit of grinding (different sound that usual). Usually it starts right up. And now no start or even ACC power with key turned. At first i suspected dead battery due to something left on...
Kobelco SK160LC
Seeking input and guidance:
Started the machine in the morning. Fired right up...no hesitation. Ran it for an hour and shut it down. Came back to it after an hour and tried to start it..turned the ignition on...had power....turned the key to start...nothing...No sound of the...
1976 977l with general purpose bucket and my starter is spinning but not engaging or disengaging. I have limited resources and I am wondering if I can raise the bucket by using a chain hoist anchored to the loop on top of the canopy.
The starter is barely touching the flywheel , it has...
It's possible that someone else may have posted this problem. If so, please forgive me and direct me there and I'll read. If not, here goes:
2003 NH LB75B, 5200 hours.
Problem: Starter turns engine over only a 1/4 of a turn and then goes click click, as if the batteries are dead...
1. My 1994 PC75UU-2, Serial number 8310, Engine Model # 4D95L-1, was getting harder to start. I replaced the batteries but still turned over slow. Had a friend try and start while I watched and fire/smoke came out of the rear of the starter motor. Now it won't turn over at all. I suspect the...

i HAVE A 1967 INTERNATIONAL TRACTOR WITH A LOADER AND BACKHOE. THE STARTER IS DEAD. IT SPINS BUT WILL NOT ENGAGE. I CAN SEE THE BACK OF THE STARTER AND SOLINOID. HOW DO I REMOVE IT? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO FIX IT. I JUST DON'T SEE HOW TO GET IT OUT.
I have a 2010 Caterpillar 252BII with about 350 hours on it. It's been having some intermittent wiring problems. I would say about 5% of the time, the machine will not start. No power making it to the solenoid. When this is happening, there is power leaving the ignition switch, but it doesn't...
