Bummer! That's quite the haul road... I was on a road like that with overhanging rocks and had a smallish (10 lb.) rock fall on the hood of my service truck. Left quite the dent.
Have you ever traveled the old Othello/Beverly road that parelled the old Milwaukee RR? this cliffside was just southwest of Royal City. It was well known for dropping rocks in early spring freeze/thaw cycles. I won the lottery that morning.Bummer!
You have been there.Crab Creek
I have never been over that road. A friend of mine owns or did own a missile site in Royal and I used to go that way.Have you ever traveled the old Othello/Beverly road that parelled the old Milwaukee RR? this cliffside was just southwest of Royal City. Would that be Bruce M ? That man will buy, sell, or trade anything that doesn't eat.I have never been over that road. A friend of mine owns or did own a missile site in Royal and I used to go that way.
That would be. He and I have been friends for 40 years or so.Would that be Bruce M ? That man will buy, sell, or trade anything that doesn't eat.
He is one of the good guys, If you need it he can find it. I remember seeing one of his trucks loaded with Hanford surplus IBM computers, the old school biggies. That would be. He and I have been friends for 40 years or so.
I just talked to him a second ago. They were heading out to a funeral. He is one of the good old boys. He used to drag the most interesting stuff home among them a M8 Greyhound, a LARC, a Gamagoat a grader from the City of Seattle that had the blade removed and was replaced by this flame bar that the used to heat up asphalt with in place (saw it when I was a kid and all manner of odd ball trucks. That old pedal steer 977H that was over there I have spent some time on. He owned the only two Brockways I had ever seen or driven until we moved back here. You are absolutely right... if you needed it and he didn't have it or couldn't get it... it was not obtainable. He is one of the good guys, If you need it he can find it. He supplied the Brown brothers in Royal with some interesting equipment for various projects and I got to modify, repair, or rebuild a bunch of that stuff. He dumped a little S-7 Euclid over there once, I should have bought the little beast for a toy, but I was raising 4 kids at the time.
In our part of the world it seems to be!Small world I met Bruce one time years ago.
