Was looking through a pile of old truck parts this afternoon that a 85 year old guy is trying to clear out.
Bought another core engine-Cummins BCII complete, Was a B model cat there but incomplete would
get hammered on cores.
Steve a friend of mine bought a 48 Kenworth-with odd parts something I or he has ever seen before,
It had fiberglass fenders. Pretty rough he can line it up with the other 11 he already has of 50's KW's.
But the real cool thing he had was a photo of a 1942 Freightliner conventional log truck {his family was
in the logging business from the early 20's through the early 70's. {Pretty Friggin Rare Photo} there are
no known working photos of those early Freightliner conventional trucks other than a Consolidated Freight
photo of one hooked to a dry van. He said he had to look at home through his old photos because he
thought there was a photo of it with a load on it. A 1942 Below.
