Mercedes Daimler builds the DT12 in Freightliners, Eaton builds the 13sp Autoshift. Actually it's a little late in the game for Allison.

Well, Allison has been there all along, long before computers were ever smart enough to move shift forks. I find it strange that they never caught on but maybe the efficiency lost in a converter/clutch based transmission with oil pressure holding everything on is too much for line haul.
