Yes it was. I own welding and milling equipment and I've
done a lot of tool manufacturing in the past. Probably not
an easy job if you don't have machining experience of some
sort. Depending on your machine, it could be easier than mine.
The big problem with mine is that the space between the inner
stick and the outer stick was less than the thickness of the
nylon (.75" nylon). What make & model do you have and how
thick are the steel slides?
