Be interesting to know the cost/price paid for that 850 back then compared to a same
KW today.

Look after your health first, Year of a truck is not that important. In 09 I went to Penticton to Inland KW and the parts man he could not find any information.

Truck was a BC Hydro truck and was used to haul Transformers up to a dam site, and other heavy hauls. Truck and 300ton trailer has been sold and last heard it was in Wash state.

I happened to be near Heavy Hauling's yard today so I swung in and snapped some quick pictures. It was raining and I didn't want to get in the way so this was the best I could do. They've got two big'uns and a smaller one but judging by the bumper, the first picture is this truck.

I'm going to have to make a pulling unit out of one of these and convert to twin steer front. I previously wanted a c500 but a 850 will do.

Feb. 2014 this smart old trucker stopped town and put 2 sets of triple chains on the drivers then lifted the lead Axle on trailer before heading west up the mine hill with his load of straw bales.

As usual KW reused that vin #, it comes up 2001 W900. Normally it would have been tagged with
previous year.

A 1950 with a KTA 600-in for a rebuild, depending on what's needed $40 grand. Is it worth rebuilding?
Of coarse it is---It's not a plastic pile of crap built from 1990 up, plus it's a 523 series.
