Some shared pics of DDT KW850 unit #10. I think that DDTs and Steelrocks trucks are some of the most well maintained migthy queen trucks you can find on The Island.

Not a problem hayesno1 I am in fairly close contact with the DDT trucks. 32 has an N14 with a hole in the block right now but another one is on order, might even get a bigger set of diffs at the same time. DY-1 is running a set of bd121,000 clark diffs, 18 speed transmission, and a computerized 565HP cummins ISX engine.

Good to hear dieselfreak, that she(#32) will return to duty. Welcome aboard this great site:). It seems to me that the big off highway trucks are having a 2nd. renaissance on Vancouver Island and Coastal Mountains in BC. Great for occupation etc. and great for a guy like me to see those big trucks are still going strong after 30-40 years of hard labour. That's amazing:canada

075. The unit number of that truck was H-05, it was originally a Kelsey Bay truck. It has spent many years as a water truck but will be going back to Kelsey to haul logs. Look great.

It did have H05 on the fuel card but was not sure if it was the right number.

That 60 Series sure looks small in a hole made for a V-12. I bet it runs better though. Anyone with experience driving them that can compare the two?

Stepping on the throttle of a V12 is like stepping on a grape, sounds cool though. Stepping on the throttle of Series 60 is like stepping on the tail of a cat, hang on its going to be a ride. Seriously, two different power bands V12 starts to die off after 1900 RPM and the Series 60 pulls hard down to 1400 RPM or lower
