Deutz 1011 Runaway - Injector Pump Fault? Help Please!

hello and thanks for your feedback; i do not have a solenoid, only a push lever to shut off the fuel.
The rack seems free when i operate the lever from outside the cover plate, but there seems like excessive play between the long throttle lever and the end stop which has an adjustment nut.
I guess the only way i will find out is to fit everything back and start up the old girl.....
