We have a Case 580 super m series 2, it had died the other day while backing up. Sounds like it is not getting fuel, just turns over but wont fire. Tried replacing fuel pump, relays/fuses and fuel solenoid. Still no luck it seems to be electrical but not sure, any input would be great. Thanks.

Check the fuel pick up in the tank , fish it out with a piece of wire. Or blow back threw the fuel line into the tank . Is there no fuel when you use the primer?

Make sure voltage is getting to fuel solenoid. Could be a bad connection preventing solenoid from opening.

Welcome to HEF @Levi Hoyt
Re the wires for the fuel solenoid -
  • HOLD - has power when ignition is on
  • PULL - has power when key is in START position
  • GROUND
If you have an electrical issue - with ignition ON try to manually move the fuel shut off lever behind the injector pump to the run position & see if it holds there. If it does the engine should start.
If that is your scenario - you need to check why the PULL circuit is not working - possibly a relay or a wiring issue.

You can tie the solenoid open with a piece of wire if it starts then it's the wiring. Open the bleeder when you prime it fuel should be coming out.
