    Hein-werner c-14b Good or Bad?

I was thinking all Hein-Werners had crane pads, no? If its in good shape, operates hiccup free for at least a 45 min. test 'drive' and has no major leaks(besides the Detroit) than i would say you have a good farm machine. Whats a good price depends on how much work you have to do, how much...

What is the downside of a 613B?

Crumb'er The downside of a 613 mainly is its size, too small to be productive on large yardage and too complex to justify its use on small scale jobs. For a farmer with some small grading and haulin it may be perfect. 613's hate rock, hardpan, sticky gumbo, turning in the cut, high speed...

    Dewatering Trench Methods ?

Gas pumps lose prime after they catch up with the water. Try electric submersibles. Did you try leaving any wells behind? Sounds like a good time to invest in a genset to run an electric over night, nothings better than starting the day in a dry ditch. Be safe.

    atm thieves

After you get the keys and 'borrow' an excavator HEO, dont forget the important stuff: 1. Dont dig up the ATM while working over the drive motors 2. Take care not to make bucket to cab contact and 3. Be sure to take lots of pictures or video to post on HEF! :cool2

Sometimes oil wont help the cheap binders, a pry bar held through the ring at one end of the ratchet types solves any chain twist problems for me.:Pointhead

    Equipping for a lowboy

Not a Witzco Challenger I hope. :Banghead Go with a non-ground engaging neck, air ride and a stick well between the frame. It may cost more up front but in the long run these options more than justify the extra money.

    Cat 365/Cat 245 comparison

Stacked 24'x8'x8" is doable with a decent 345Bl long stick. Whats the ground conditions? What width spreader pipe will be used? Got any ground water or running sand? I think a 345c and stacked 20' boxes at 22' deep will get the job done, unless your in rock. Sewer work isnt a job, it's an...
