Dozer Oil?
I am going to change the transmission and hydraulic oil in a 550H John Deere dozer and the book says it uses 10w40 motor oil in both, I was just wondering what kind of oil most of you use? I would have thought it would have used hydraulic oil, but the manual says motor oil. -

Bottom Rollers 550H
I have noticed that a couple of the bottom rollers on my 550H dozer are starting to leak some oil, they are not leaking bad just a little. Wire for guards:
Any suggestions where around Memphin Tn. you can find the heavy welded wire they make the rear and side screens that come on dozers? I have checked everywhere and all I can find is expanded metal, this will word but it is harder to see thru than the heavy metal wire that I see on most dozers. -

How to tell:
How to tell when there is enough wear on the track bushing and pins that will need turning. Also is this a big job, and is it very expensive to have it done? -

Track Tension:
