    580C Brakes - new problem

I was using my ole C and the right brake got stuck. The pedal was rock solid and would not move at all. The farther I drove(less than 50 yards) the tighter the brake got. I got the brakes hot enough to smell and the housing was quite warm. I got under it and beat and pecked around and it...

    SK60 Kobelco

Started it up yesterday after it has been sitting about 3 months. It fired right up but would not go above a low idle. Inside the cab I could hear a clicking sound intermittently from behind the cab. Some times 1 click and sometimes 5-6 times. The throttle control motor appeared to be...

This may not be the right place to post this but- I am looking at agricultural style disc harrows to do finish work for sowing seed on small lawn projects. Probably a 3 point lift, 6' disc on about a 35hp ag tractor. Do I need smooth blades/coulters or do I need the notched style? Thanks, Greg

    Bracket for laser reciever

Is there a bracket to mount on a excavator stick the would hold a receiver for a rotary laser? I have a CTS Berger ALH rotary laser. I was thinking this would allow me to get the bottom of a ditch reasonable close to grade without a ditch man(or my lovely wife). Will this work or have I...

Not that it really matters but I am curious- There is the normal seat belts then on both sides there is another strap like a seat belt that has a snap type end on it. The design of the snaps-although much smaller- are about like a lead rope for a horse that has a "bull snap" or " quick...

    Antifreeze testers

I was checking everything for the winter. I use one of the little antifreeze testers with the floating balls. Probably cost $1.50 and is 20 years old. Then I got to wonderin'? Are these accurate enough? Do they ever wear out? If they do fail do the balls float or sink? Thanks, Greg
