Did you miss that this move was done from one location on a mine site to another. Did you notice how many conveyors they had to go under.?

I think AzIron was talking about the 310 upthread. They used the boom lock instead of chaining it.

That's a pretty common way of moving big iron on a mine site. The big coal mine down by Chehalis even made a trailer and moved their rope shovels like that.

Saw one last week wish I could’ve gotten a picture it was a dodge caravan early 2000s model pulling an older 36 ft bumper pull travel trailer doing about 45 down i55 and the rear bumper and hitch hitting the road on every bump

I bet no mirror extensions either. That one gets me, some guy with a wide boat and no mirrors on an SUV, trying to cross over 4 lane of freeway.

Maybe not as bad as a Dodge using three lanes with no trailer in tow. Do the mirrors have to extend three feet each side of the truck when not towing.

If your Pe*() is big enough, you don't need dodge mirrors.

I have those mirrors on my truck and we call those Dumbos when they come down the road folded out with no trailer. When I get where we are towing to, I fold those things back in ASAP!

Those folks hanging off the bridge should first, get new underwear, then go buy lottery tickets. But the RV'ers don't need a CDL

As for the big move

Kinda like, it's my excavator, my truck, my trailer, my road, my property, so mind your own business and kiss my arze if you don't like like it:p

I would imagine that’s why they loaded over the side and also why there was not a chain or a binder in sight.

I put a 5th wheel hitch for sale on Craigslist, and when asked to deliver I ran it up there. I would not install it so I sent him to a reputable shop. The buyer was a foreign fellow who spoke english only by using his phone to translate. He had a smaller 5th wheel that he had brought up from California by using a gooseneck adapter to a bumper hitch ball.
He gets the hitch work done and asked for some help getting that adapter off.
I help him remove the adapter and get him set up, then look in the cab. No brake controller. Too old to have the integrated one, so yes, no brakes all the way from California to Washington.
I explained to him that he needed a brake controller, and sent him back to Ballew's in Tacoma after priming them over the phone. In truth, they should have caught that.
He texts me after he has headed south that he is not sure the brake controller is working, and I talked him through that too. In for a penny, or no good deed goes unpunished.
I hear back from him after he got down there that he and his sons made it safe and sound, and he was grateful for my help and that it towed so much better.
YOu're all welcome :p

Been there, done that. The best solution is a track hoe with crane mats. Its not about getting it out of the mud, that parts easy. Its about getting it out of the mud and not require any repairs that makes it difficult.
