    CASE 980B

My cousin said he use to run one a long time ago. He said it was slow, and had gear pumps instead of vein pumps. He said they never had major problems with it. I called a few Case parts places and they said the same thing. Parts are near impossible to find. It does have the house leveling...

    CASE 980B

Looking at buying a 1980 Case 980B to dig a farm pond on my property. Does anyone have any experience with these machines? There's info on the engines online, but not to much about the 980B. It only has 800 hours on it. Thanks

Case 580K Help identifying wire that fell off

I checked the wiring diagram.....Cold start is grey/orange. I thinks that's it. It also makes sense because I don't have that option. Mystery solved. Thanks

Case 580K Help identifying wire that fell off

It does. That never even occurred to me. I will have to get a better look tomorrow. I’ve wrenched on old Cletus a lot. Never noticed it before.

Case 580K Help identifying wire that fell off

I was pressure washing the other day and somehow blasted a wire off. I can’t find out where it is supposed to connect. As far as I can tell everything seems to be working properly. It’s under the small hood where the hydraulic fill and diesel fill are. I can’t find it on the print. It’s under...

Man Basket for a Stinger R.O crane

Ok. Thanks guys. I went to a local heavy equipment junkyard. They had a couple that I can possibly make work, but none of them had the hand brakes on them. The one place I called wanted $8000 for a used one. I didn't spend that much on the crane truck......

Man Basket for a Stinger R.O crane

I have an older Stinger R.O. 110 crane that I use on the farm. I don't make any money with it, just personal use. I'm trying to hunt down a basket for it. I've came across a couple online, but they are hard to find and very expensive. Does anyone have one they would like to sell at a reasonable...

    Dipper Drifting Down

Thanks for the replies.... Its not really weeping at the gland. I was thinking it was blowing by the piston. I just didn't want to tear the cylinder apart only to find it was the valve leaking. Tinkerer.... I should have been more clear when I said stick I meant the control lever is centered...

    Dipper Drifting Down

I have a Case 580k old style and the dipper is drifting down with the stick centered. Is there a trick to figure out if it is the cylinder or the valve. From the hydraulic schematic it looks like there is a check. Thanks

I couldn't find the private message once they changed the format, but I started a conversation with you. I'm interested in the outriggers.
