Hi guys,
I'm looking to add a 1:50th scale mining shovel to my collection; however, I'm somewhat cheap. (Don't worry, I know they're almost all over $200). And I was wondering if anyone could recommend one that would give me the best "bang for my buck". I'm not really concerned about a particular OEM at this point. I did just order a Cat 365L FS, but thats not really a "mining" shovel.
Thanks,
Dave
I have a fairly good size collection here are some pics http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/ff49/STLModels/

I live in Western North Carolina in Hendersonville. I see you got the custom BE 400H, The Koehring 1166E lives at my house, Brian does some nice work.
As far as the custom doubles, Mark Savage is building me a complete fleet of trucks for a make believe company that would run in Utah. I will post more customs models later.
Thanks for the interest. John
