Swamp digging

Ok
On this job I've been brought in to clean up and bust a bunch of beaver dams that are flooding and killing around 12 acres of timber. the creek is a little over 1/2 mile long that I will need to redig also.

the fun begins

It was so clean

Great pics as always Chris :notworthy congrats on the Daewoo :thumbsup

Out of intrest when you do a job like this one clearing and burning, do you do it on price or hourly?
I dont want your rates :D I am just intrested to know if you have done enough of it over the years to have a per tree / acre or hour figures you work with.

we try to give people a set price and say what we can do for this certain amount. some rather do it by the hour, then when they don't want to spend anymore money we stop. this gives them the option to add more work or do less, most of the time it is do more:D

Thanks Chris. Really you are using your experience of whats gone before to sort out a price, so does it come down to by the root, or quantity of them to the acre? sorry, just facinated, DONT want prices.
