These trucks all went to Richies in the 80's, when things changed at crown nititnat. This was all before my time however, I always wondered what part of the coast they ended up. Digging through grandpas archives, i do have some information. HDX maybe you may know some other info on them???:
#5 was a 1959 HayesHDX ser#9082039 32-80. Originally with a 6-110gm, later converted to a 350 cummins.
#8 1965 P12Pacific ser#T6583 259.I was told this truck went to **** Nimmo at some point, and had a loader installed on it. Apparently its in mission area somewhere now?
#9 1954 HD ser#4021511 20-70. Ended up with a 350 cummins, They kept the original engine, but i cant remember the problem with it? Grandpa never threw anything away...
#11 1956KW 848. ser#63212.
#12 1955KW cd848 ser#64451. (Blk Prince, you probably remember my dad, mike. he drove this quite abit.)
#18 1963 HDX ser#3032413. I believe this one had a v12 gm. From what i was told, it was originally a Bill Neal truck from sooke??

First off Welcome to the site Braden, Thanks for letting Al post all these pictures I know you have managed to track down most of them through the family and friends It is a real testament to you and the Neva Family. There are a lot of people that come on here and although they don't say anything they for sure really enjoy just being able to see your family history through all these pictures. You are too modest Show some more of your Pacific I know at least one guy and his wife that would get VERY excited looking at it. As for info I have had this stuff set aside for you for the better part of a year. Will send them down with 31KW (Larry) at P&R so you can make arrangements to pick them up from him. Unit #9 1954 HD Hayes serial number 4021511 Off-set cab was originally sold to J Lakeburg Delivered March 1954 NHB-600 200 HP Cummins engine S/N 125283 Center dump manifold so it probably came straight up through the hood No muffler Main trans was a Fuller 4 speed and a Fuller aux 3 speed Timken SFD 4600 rear diffs 10:16 ratio 12:00X22 tires Unit number 5 1959 Hayes HDX S/N 9082039 Was sold to Grosskleg & Truman(seems to me the name is spelt wrong) Delivered Sept 1959 Came with a 6-110 GM engine s/n 6B-17917 Main Trans was a Fuller 5A1120 and a Spicer 8341-A aux trans SFD 46-40 rear ends 10:16 Ratio 12:00X24 tires Truck was painted "Pasture Yellow" at factory and finally Unit #18 1963 Hayes HDX s/n 3032413 sold new to Bill Neil Contracting , 242 Glenairlie Drive Victoria BC Delivered Jan 23/1963 Engine was a V8--350 Cummins s/n 336835 15 1/2 inch two plate clutch air assist on clutch Fuller 5A1120 main and a 8341A Spicer aux , Shuler front axle Timken SFD 46-40 rear diffs and 10:16 ratio and 12:00x24 tires She also came with the Thompson driveline retarder and heat exchanger Was painted Hayes ( Apache ) Yellow at factory. Sorry Braden but that is all I can help you with on the Hayes's but maybe 31 KW could jump in with the KW trucks. At least you know a little more now that an hour ago LOL Will PM you about line tickets OK Have a great day

Braden, welcome aboard. I do remember your Dad. He was at Nitinat for awhile then went wrenching at Shoal. Have not seen him in years. Hauled from Swan and hauled his machine. Also Gordie and Richard hauled with us. I was doing a walk along main drag in Ladysmith and a SHINY yello, green and white Mack caught my I. Very nice. Good friends with Cliff and Len Davis.
