Swan Neva's Grandson Braden Tuck has loaned us his Grandfathers photo album to share . It started with Swan Neva's father inlaw J.T.Jewula prior to the 2nd World War operated J.W.Jewula Transfer , after the 2nd World War , Swan Neva left the woods as a faller , to pursue a trucking business . Since then the Neva family has been operating in the Lake Cowichan area as S. Neva Contracting , Swan's son Gordy as Gordy Neva Trucking and his Grandson's Gord and Braden Tuck as Tuck Bros. Contracting . The Neva's are a hard working bunch and I'm amazed Swan took the time to take these pictures . Swan Neva is no longer with us , but I think any body who knew him will have some fond memories of him , and I hope some of those memories will be shared on this thread .scan 01.jpg

Up until the 1980's the Forest Industry was a unique place to live and work , lots of outfits big and small to work for , lots of "Character's" to work for and with . Now its like working in a monopoly factory without coffee breaks . Were so lucky guy's like Swan Neva took the time to take pictures for us to ponder over .
