second this post thanksThanks to everyone for the great pictures and taking time to tell more about the area and trucks. Some time maybe you could share more information on how the trucks were equipped. Motor sizes and horse power, transmissions, capacity, empty and loaded weights, over all lengths, and widths.
When you think how long the trucks last in such poor operating conditions, it just seems amazing. Great stuff I for one really appreciate you taking time to load, and share pictures and tell the stories!!!!!!

Wow! Mooyah haven't heard that name in years. We lived in Mooyah bay in the mid to late 60s . Our dog was named Mooyah. I remember getting in trouble for playing on the flat booms. My sister has some super8 films of the log barges loading up in the bay . Thanks for jogging my memory Hoeguy .Hauled ballast with that old blue gal, at Mooyah 14 years ago. Hey, that's the old truck that my dad and I used to own ! We had that truck in 83 at Camp A in Nimpkish hauling for Canfor ! John Foster bought it and still owns and it is still working today. I passed it on the Nimpkish main last year when I was working for HDLogging, it was pretty cool to see it again and to have a BS with the driver. Thank you for posting camptramp And yes it is the same truckBoulder Bill ,View attachment 163877View attachment 163878 WFP North Island , I'm not sure if these 2 pictures are of the same 849 Kenworth pulling a Lowbed or not !
There is one by my house that I want to check out, I will see what I can do...I'm looking for one of these somewhere close as I would like to make a road change and lay out truck out of one.
