Hi all,
Long time listener, first time caller.
I own a Bobcat 763 G series which uses the quick attach mounting plate, and I need to buy a backhoe attachment to go on it.
I have my sights on a John Deere Pro 850 backhoe that a friend has for a very good price (~$2k). It runs well and has no leaks or problems. It also has a quick attach setup.
Question is - is the backhoe quick attach compatible with my Bobcat's quick attach.
The backhoe is about 200 miles away from where I'm at and I can't get my Bobcat up there any time soon. The seller only has a JD skid steer to demo it with which is different.
I've scoured the internet for information on the JD Pro 850 backhoe, and can't find it anywhere. The JD website is devoid of any information for anything other than their newer B7, B8, etc models.
I've had people assure me that any "quick attach" will work on any other "quick attach" but others have said that's not true and that there are differences in sizing on the plate.
Anyone know anything about this or have any websites I may have overlooked?
Also, if I buy it and the sizes are off, are there any good ways of adapting different sizes to work? Is the cutting/welding easy for a mechanic?
