Volvo/White/GMC hoods of those years were notorious for cracking, smooth or rough road it didn't make any difference.

Yeah but I lost the rear fender too!!! Really nothing more left that is fiberglass that hasn't broken, the battery box lid has went to schit also lost it twice so far, had to bungee cord it on. Funny going down the road watching the roof go up and down like a base speaker.
