Can't remember if I posted these before. Timberwest Skagit 51-55 looks like a fresh paint job
Lunch fires and either can mortars shooting at the the other side across the valley.Always had alot of fun on the towers. Big crews lots of shannigans going on lol . Good production. Once everyone figured out and started getting good on the Grapple yarders that was the end of the towers. We went from 5 guys on the sidehill down to one guy.
No it wouldn't Maximum GVW 60,200 Kilograms .nice truck but it sure won`t take the loads he`s used to hauling
Sad to say Timberwest had 3 Skagit towers at HBO Div. and 1 Skagit tower at their Nanaimo Lakes Div. , With our new CEO and our man John Mann at the helm things changed around 2002 -2004 . I'm not sure if either of the Skagit towers survived the "Scrap Dealers Torch" .What a beautiful 739. I am surprised that they do not use towers anymore. You car reach out so much further & get more logs.
132.000 still a pretty good loadNo it wouldn't Maximum GVW 60,200 Kilograms .
That axle combination has 7 axles and 26 tires and 3 pivot points . It packs a good load , but it can be scary to drive not very forgiving if something goes wrong . Two of those trucks ended up with gravel rash and a new mirror . (not that one)132.000 still a pretty good load
