These are pictures of a "Coker" that is manufactured by CESSCO in Edmonton for Syncrude Canada Ltd., Ft, Mc Murray, Alberta. They extract oil from bitumen (a Tar-like substance) found in Northern Alberta. This unit is over 500 feet long, weighs more than 1.2 million lbs., is carried on highly specialized trailers with approximately 700 wheels; it takes 5 days to haul it 600 miles.

Hilbile, that is quote from the Kings post (see post here). I have my options set to view 40 posts per page so your page 1 might be different from mine. I'm guessing thats the one you're referring to.

Meant this guy on the road today, he was definitely wide. Didn't get the lead escort filmed that was driving square down the middle of the highway.

Yes it is a big job to move those trailers. They make them in a small town called Shandon outside Cincinnati ohio and I see them move pretty often an it messes traffic up always but its really neat to see

I'm not sure what it is rated for weight wise, but I have seen it move an RH200 around on a fairly regular basis. I also have pictures of it moving a Demag H455S. These pictures came from a good friend, I'm not sure who actually took them.

Brian
thanks for sharing the nice pictures. Do you know the type of the tractor for transporting the DEMAG H455S?
THANKS A LOT

Thanks, don't worry, it's pretty hard to give the wrong impression. I like this place, it's fun! I'm all for joking around.

Here are a few more, give me an idea what you would like to see and I will see if I can do it.

Brian
The first tractor is PACIFIC P 12W3 Prime mover , the 2nd and 3rd i really do not know, i think maybe it is a MACK....
