No, but i heard about it. Ad was supposedly done when Bill was on Greens original D9G when they did the kopu-hikuai road. Yes Bill was a top guy. Cut all those batters on 'one ton straight' on kh road.
Mills had some TD30s on that road job too; but there efforts werent quite as good as the 9 !

New Bill (Bondy) when he was managing Greens in Twizel in the 70's, Top Bloke

Yair . . . EDGLimited. We're always interested in pictures of lizards!

I have been meaning to ask . . . anyone know what was the model number of an elevating lizard I ran for a couple of shifts, I think about 14yards, had a 4-71 on the drive and I think a 2-71 gear driving the elevator . . . very easy to stall and you had to run back to start it again . . . embarrassing.

Cheers

Sorry for the delay, but sorting through pics takes a while. So settle back with a frosty and go back in time. These pics were taken around 1977 - 1982. There's a story with each one, but the ol memories not that good now, you might also see some of the lizards painted in cat yellow as well. I have a hell of a lot more so will post when I can.

Yair . . . terexkerry. That S11 rings a bell. A few show on the internet but as yet I can't find any detail about that mechanical drive elevator . . . as I remember the power went up there by tail shaft and truth be known once you got the hang of it it worked pretty well.

Thanks for photo's EDGLimited . . . the memories of Detroit sounds and smells.

Cheers
