Had a question about your recent D6M blade pivot joint repair. Did you weld in a new cat part or did you get a replacement machined?
Was wondering because on the 6M and 6N on more than one occasion I've seen the bearing holder on the blade tilt ram rod end stretch, elongate and break due to maintenance and overload issues. At the top of the blade tower I notice there is clearance to get a custom bearing holder machined and installed that has a larger OD than the Cat OEM part. Just curious if you go OEM only, or make improvements to parts that you see commonly fail.
