Ohiofleet, you can get the grease pump from Caterpillar p/n 7H-1660 or Alemite 7149.
tom, when welding up holes that are really egged out, how do you get the welder to fill the low spots more than the other areas and still end up with a round hole? This has been bugging me so I have to ask.
I agree on the last four years thing, but it doesn't look good to get out of the rut anytime soon.

Do you heat it cherry red and the quench it with a wet rag??

I have just read through the entire thread and found it very interesting and informative. I have a question, when ever these types of jobs come up in my life it is always muddy and raining or snowing and blowing and covered in 3 inches of grease and filth. Do you have them clean the equipment up before you get there or do you have a pressure washer on your truck?

Tom what if hardox steel is not used for a bucket repair but instead steel that a machine shop would have in stock? Also do you use 100% hardox even for the side pieces?
