If you're talking about the one I posted it was an off highway load clean up load so it was a little on the chunky side. 106ish maybeHow much can the trucks weigh in picture #2697?
Very cool! Never saw one on a Terex before. I worked under several that were on tank carriers. One of the very first 071s. Only made about 4 or 5 on terex carriers before we went to fabricated carriers. Nice to know there is at least 1 still out there even if it isn't pulling wood. Regards d.d.

You are absolutely right. It is a tank carrier. I was thrown by the colour. I should have been paying more attention. I also didn't remember the tank carriers started at such a low serial number. Thinking about it a bit more tho I seem to remember we used a different model number on the terex machines and started the 700 numbers with the tank carriers. I also had forgotten that we didn't go straight from terex to fabricated carriers but had a long production run on the tank carriers in between. Sorry for the misinformation. It's been a long long time since I worked on them and I should have thought a little longer before posting. Regards d.d.I would have said that was a tank carrier. What makes it a Terex? I'm confused. I don't know anything about tanks or Terex, just following this with interest.
