Here is one for Murk. 12009.

This is a resent photo. The machine was imported last year by a guy who really does look after gear well. It has since been sold up North.

Furpo,

I bought this machine from Gwens in 2008. Great yarder! Keep me updated on its wherabouts, wish I still had it.

12007 is now Weyco of Springfield, Oregon
12013 is still C&C of Kelso, WA
Weyco PeEll had two 120's as well but I can't find the numbers, I think one went to Weyco Longview after I took the pics a few years ago.

OK I wasnt right with 12442. Asumption is the mother of all f ups.

The Winston Allnut machine was 12439. This was for sale in the March 09 NZ Logger. Roadswitcher did find out who brought it but I can not remember at this point. I have a photo of it somewhere. It has the riser under the cab.

The old Arbuckle machine is 12422. It is currently in the north Waikato with Ribbonwoods. I posted a photo of it earlier.

12446 is owned by Sam Olsen and is ex John Ray.

There are a few more that I know of that I have not seen so dont have the numbers

Oliver Logging
Newton Logging
Arbuckles (Steve Rist's machine)
John Burt
Mitchell's
ANC (Australia) Think this is either 47 or 48

124-40 is our machine Bay Yarding Ltd, Rotorua NZ
124-23 is now owned by JD Contracting, Opotiki NZ
124-50 but actually the 49th machine GYS Gisbourne NZ

Furpo could probably give danny arbuckles current and old 124 serial numbers I'm pretty sure one of them is 124-25?

And of course the serial numbers are growing again with a couple of new 124s already working down here and more sold and being built at the moment.

Your machine is 124-51 isnt it ali?

Yep it is 124-51/ That 120 a couple of posts back has a nice back drop. Interesting how things are log over there all the little pockets in the back ground.

Thank you all. You guys are legands. Redfox, when did Douglas bring 12031 in?

12407 must be the one that fell down the gorge.

Colin Mitchell still has his machine

Can I assume that Danny purchased 12407 direct from Ian.

I couldnt answer that. But from what I know the machine and transporter rolled off a forestry road in kinleith forest into a gorge doing substantial damage to the 124 it was then rebuilt and danny ended up with it I'm not sure if he purchased directly from Ian or how it all came about.

12031 was imported in by Brent Hubert for Douglas Logging in May 2011, Ironically he also imported 12431 also for Douglas logging in March 2010.

Yes- some adjustments are required but it is possible to fly a skycar with a 124. They are a very fast, expensive yarder and you can skycar log farther with much less expensive machinery. If you have a steady diet of that work then a 124 is likely not the best machine for the job; The 124 is fast and excels in grapple or preset applications in distances under 1,500'.

Here's a quick pic I took of a week-old 124 with Boman on the White River at Enumclaw, Washington in 1999. JTR Logging had this machine and a 120 working here and ended up trading both for a pair of towers better suited to skycar application.
