I heard a story about a guy that threw the service manual over the blower on an 8V-71 and it ate the book a page at a time and blew confetti out the stacks.

I WASNT THERE BECAUSE I WAS TOO YOUNG AT THE TIME BUT THERE WERE WITNESSES TO A COUSIN OF MINE DOING THE SAME THING TO A MACK R MODEL (NOT SURE WHAT ENGINE) BLOWER AND ALMOST SHUT IT DOWN BUT OL' MACK(?) ENGINE SLOWLY HEAVING BLACK SMOKE AND SHOP MANUAL DEBRIS STARTED BACK GAINING..NOTICING THIS HE QUICKLY JUMPED UP ON THE STEER TIRE AND SAT ON INTAKE WITH LEFT CHEEK AND NOT THE ONE MOM KISSED YOU ON AND SHUT OL' MACK DOWN HOSS! HIS ONLY SACRIFICE WAS A INTAKE SIZE HICKY THAT FAINTLY BLED THRU HIS JEANS ON 1 AZ CHEEK THAT DAY BUT WAS NOTICEABLE IN MIRROR HE SAYS FOR COUPLE WEEKS TILL GONE LOL! IF ITS A LIE THEY TOLD IT!!
