Quick Wa180 brake line question

I am redoing a few brake lines on a wa180. The brake lines are 6mm or 1/4 but the fittings are metric. They seem to be m12.

I was wondering are they bubble or double flare connections? They look like they’ve been replaced before by someone who did a horrible job.

Also any tips would be helpful. I have the flare and hose bending tools.

I seem to remember of the older machines I worked on doing the double flair on the brakes but they had what looked like JIC male ends on the mating side. There might have been some swedge lock fittings on some of the machines as well. What does the mating end that you are coupling to look like?
