As long as no one was injured--------.
Was following a freight tractor trailer at about five miles an hour in rush hour traffic. Right lane of three interstate highway going up the earth embankment prior to the bridge deck. Truck starts veering right. Once all right tractor wheels roll off the shoulder and the tractor leans hard right the brake lights come on. The combo goes over in slow motion. I pull over in front of him. Find him laying on the passenger door windshield already partially out and coolant spewing in. Shut the engine down, pulled windshield the rest of the way out and helped him out. Got blankets and wrapped him up. Paramedics gave me my blanket back and mentioned the cleanup crew might have a grand party. There were a couple dozen or more beer kegs at the bottom of the embankment.Wonder if they checked to see if it's full of beer?
Anyone using a phone for any purpose while driving should be stood against a wall and shot IMHO.
Amazingly there are still apparently states where it is not even against the law to use a phone while driving. That was certainly the case the last time I was in FL but things may have changed since then. I’m afraid I can’t figure out the logic behind that one.
Not an "Overload of the day" more like an UNload of the day. Birken, you may remember this, SB 49 just south of Dorsey Dr. almost 4 years ago. I took the pic offen the local news site. I think the pintle hitch didnt get latched on the dump truck (out of view) and as he topped the hill and started down, it popped up and off. But who knows...Skid Loader on a trailer, pickup didn't fare too well
