It should have a disclaimer that it is not recommended on public roads
Eating a Carolina Reaper is known to be not a good idea--people do it anyway. Parents telling
their children not to smoke and ten minutes later they light one up. Speed limit signs, 50% don't
head them. The reason there are so many lawyers is so many don't care. This thread thrives off
of photos of people who don't care. Not going to stop stupid, monkey see monkey do world.

For sure. Stupid is as stupid does. Would be interesting... but your honor they even have an ad showing it can pull a backhoe. Would like to enter as evidence video number 1.

Dodge/Ram has the ad showing a 1 ton like above pulling a backhoe, well sort of. It's on a construction site and never on an actual road. It should have a disclaimer that it is not recommended on public roads. Not much difference than the ad showing a truck pulling a space shuttle. It's just marketing hype. The manufacturers should be held liable if someone has or causes an accident because they were trying to duplicate what was shown in an ad or commercial.
So, when a loser sprays on some Axe body spray, tries, unsuccessfully, to pick up some chicks, he should be able to sue as well?

My brother runs a landscape company, recently they finished a flagstone patio installation and had a partial pallet of bluestone leftover. Client didn’t want it, so my brother put it up on Facebook. About a day later, a prospective buyer showed up… with a Honda CRV. They took the whole pallet…

Can't tell what the tow vehicle is. Trailer looks like tires are tilting. Six metric tons (approximately) is a lot on a four tire trailer.
Some of the single rear tired pickups have tow rating that'd shock you. Of course, my farmer friend would tow that with a four cylinder Ranger. His is rusted so bad I expect front half of the truck to drive away, leaving the rear with the trailer.

That poor trailer. Looks like the tow vehicle is some model Superduty looking at the mirrors.

We haul our 305 (11K) on a 14K tilt trailer and it's at the top of the weight for the trailer.

Can't tell if it's a 250 or 350. The Taki had a mower on it also which probably adds a good bit of weight

What pisses me off most about guys like that (aside from being terribly unsafe) is they often get away with it scott free. I pull the same load on an 11-ton pintle trailer and air brake IH 4700 and DOT will gladly pull me over, but rarely do I see them pulling over pickups. I don't care that it's not a CMV, rigs like the one above are probably more of a menace to the motoring public than 90% of the big trucks out there....

In some parts of the nation I suppose that's correct, but around here not so much. The local
landfill will basically charge your bill with extra fee for uncovered load. On the city cop patrol
you might get pulled over by three cops that each started out as tire & auto parts sales. The
county dept has a few of the same. The state dot officer that covers this area was originally
from here and was a mechanic for the garbage co. I know for a fact he looks for and stops
rigs like the taki above. He likes nothing better than ticketing for over 26,001 and no cdl.

Used to be quite a few of those V12 GMC powering irrigation wells from western Kansas to Texas panhandle. Usually farmer got free natural gas from a well on his property. Gas is near gone and almost all have switched to diesel.

I thought Dodge's big selling feature was the side panels opened up for easier access. In actuality they created a hideous looking contraption that looks like it was made from scrap metal in a 3rd. world country. Only thing that made it worse was if they stuck Fargo lettering on it.

On another note I see Cat is coming out with a pick up truck in 2025 with 5 litre turbo engine. Who thinks it will fair any better than their attempt at class 8 trucks?

What I just read is the "Cat" pickup is a clever fake. Cat has apparently denounced all stories regarding a pickup. I think they learned their lesson with their attempt at a class 8.
I want to know who is pushing the stories and doing the AI it is from my perspective a well done high quality fake.

AI is going to be the downfall of the internet, maybe the tech industry altogether. I'm envisioning AI will be the next dot.com bubble like we had in 2000. There is just WAY too much bad to go along with what little good it can do, at some point people will realize this (I hope.)
