This is probably one rare case where being thrown clear of the machine saved the operator's life. Looking at the amount of debris inside the cab, the operator probably would have been killed if he had been strapped inside.

I have a question. Is that little marker light on the fender installed when you purchase or is it something you've added? I see them on a lot of European vehicles, are they a requirement there?

Do you mean this? different terminology, I think of fender as bumper but looking at the picture I can only think you mean this,..... indicator repeater on the wing.

If so, then I am suprised you ask! so I have to assume its a legal requirement in Europe, but not in USA, and would be factory fit. :drinkup

It was fitted when i bought the truck.
It's connected to the turn signal.
And we must have it.

Cheers,

Peter

I imagine it's helpful during lane changes, we're starting to see them here on imported European vehicles, I'd imagine they will eventually be required here as well.

Yes I think they are good...............if people just could use the turn signals!:(
I dont know what's wrong with people! Are they ashamed to use turn signals or what?

More pics..

Time for more pics:cool:

First pics are from the north island of Svalbard:cool2

They take out coal from inside mountain year around and stock up for the summer when ships can arrive for transport to the custumers.
Use trucks(volvo) and some special made Adt`s for transport.

Roads are only commen in a few areas so if they need to transport something where there are no roads use a bulldoser, or snowcat.

Maybe the pics will make you wiser, than my writing:eek:
