As I get closer to working out the issues with my (new to me s185) I had found that the wiring harness plug which goes to the Lapbar safety switch has been cut off.

Does anyone know where I could find one? :(
All help is appreciated!

bobcat dealers have a harness repair kit. they may (or may not) sell you the connector and terminated wires.
or they may have a junk harness laying aroud that you can cut off what you need.

never hurts to ask...

If you can't find the plug, I would just hard wire it together with crimp connectors that heat shrink with adhesive after crimped for a permanent fix, if you do have to replace the sensor you would just have to go through the process again, instead of just unplugging it.

Any chance of a picture showing the half of the connector you do have? It just may be possible that someone else might use the same plug connector.

Or why not just replace with a good Deutsch connector?

And if you do someday need to replace the sensor a couple new contacts on the sensor leads and you are good to go! Nice sealed quick connectors!

FWIW, the seat bar sensor has a molded in connector, the plug he's looking for is connected to the cab harness and plugs into the sensor.
3 wires, and they are NOT interchangable.
on an added note, seatbar sensor is NOT on the 12v system.

Lap bar sensor 1.JPG Hey Guys, I really appreciate all of the help. It gives me hope that I might actually conquer this machine soon. I have attached 3 pics of the lap bar sensor that I need the wiring harness plug to fit. Just as CC said there are 3 wires that go to it. As best I could tell this evening after work the numbers are 3900, 3910, & 3920. I would also need to know which wire goes to which pin if anyone can help me with that, whether I try to hard wire it or actually fine a plug to fit it I will still need that info. Thanks Again. Okay now that I can see the sensor I see that the Deutsch connector will not work.

How about this for an idea? Are there any automotive junk yards near you? We have one call Pick-N-Pull. The charge a nominal "entrance fee" then you wonder around looking for what you need. Many of these wire connectors are used on several different applications. As an example see picture below sure looks like it might be close to the one you need. So I'd start looking at GM products and don't for get to take your sensor with to match it up!

As for the wiring seems like someone will show up with the wiring diagram if you can't find it by doing a GOOGLE search.

OKay just to get you started have a look at some of these options:

I will check the junk yard tomorrow if it is not raining. If it is I will check the auto parts stores I have seen plug ends in some auto parts stores, I just can't remember which stores, but there are 3 within just a couple miles of my house so maybe I will luck up. I had no idea that a plug from a vehicle might work on a bobcat but I guess that it does make since that different things would use the same plug.

Hey Guys, checking the GM vehicles at the local junkyard was a great idea. I think the plug pictured would fit but before I could locate that one I found that some GM vehicles have this same plug on the fuel injectors also. That plugs fits perfectly so once I figure out which pin goes to which wire I think that I will have this issue completed. :D

Thanks All!! :)

For what it's worth I recently went through a similar situation adding aftermarket headlights to replace the broken ones on my Case skidsteer. After some research I found a line of connectors made by TE Connectivity called "AMP Superseal series 1.5" and after comparing the dimensions I realized they were the right ones to match the connectors on the OEM harness.
Here is a catalog for them. I ended up buying some generic clones off ebay. Worked perfectly and I didn't have to hack up my good wiring harness.
