Were do i start....
I don't think we will buy another loader, processor or road builder that isn't green. Everything is oversized and build for the bush.. pumps, motor, rotec, track gear, swing gear. they are essentially a 250 machine or bigger in a 200 size. they are very heavily built, everything is 1/4 steel or bigger, no sheet metal. Attention to detail, hand holds, railings, foot steps, storage, filter placement, lights etc etc. The only grief i have with them is the cab's. They were built in 2002 and haven't really changed at all. There due for an update in 2014(G series with new emissions)it would be nice to see a little better A/C, insulating from motor heat behind the cab, change to shorter joysticks mounted on a air ride seat would be nice. new gauges with all your operating temps.
We have D series machines now, and they made some big changes to them from the 2554, the 2054's and 2554s are still a really good machine tho.

I worked on a machine like that so long ago I can't remember the model number. It was gear travel and swing with hydraulic log front. Seems like it was a LS4100 or something.

The 855 is working near Castlegar. The yarding contractor is Dicebox - we do our best to get him into high production scenarios, especially in the pine.

Saw this machine in a wrecking yard, thought I better save it in a picture or two. Looks pretty streight, like it has hardly been used.

Almost the entire Prentice feller buncher line up from the late 1990's in one yard - only one missing is the 730 (which must be working because I know they have one as well).

720 Tilter - basically a Timbco with different paint

620 Tilter - little brother of the 720 (smaller undercarriage)

Thats a good looking machine, what year is it?
Not sure. They are both fairly high hour machines and generally disliked by the processor crew. The new guys get these to run. This outfit has four other almost new Cat 320D's to choose from.
