Had a job this week at a hospital setting some generators. I went and looked and it was kind of a crooked spot, with a bunch of left over dirt from the foundation work. Told them to clean it up, and have some rock there and I think we could make it work. Of course, I think in the back of my mind, "we're going to get there and they will have half a skid loader bucket of rock, and none of the dirt will be moved".
Need more cribbing for the 100 ton to set the generators, and I don't like jacking it up high on wood. I've had my eye on some I beam we brought back from a jobsite, so I made two more pads before we went down there, "be prepared" and all that. Its about a two and a half hour car ride to where these generators are, and I don't like not having everything I might need with us.
Use the left over I beam and slid them together, and bought some c channel to cap the ends, welded the uprights as I went.
