Here's what that building looks like from a distance, its got goofy angles every which way. The liebherr is the crane sticking up on the left behind the building. The lattice boom is working on a new aquarium building just down the street.

Built a new christmas tree at the amusement park this year. 80' tall. Supposed to have over a million LED lights in the tree and other decorations around the square. Says it should have enough resolution to watch a movie displayed on it. The lights are daisy chained in groups, and each light is only 2 wire. They send power and signal/function down the same wire.

Had my Rt in there to pull out the summer shade structure and build the base, we built the upper portions on the other street, and then set the whole upper on the base section.

Loaded some rocks out, I don't use nylons on rocks, but these guys had their own straps, and that's what they wanted to use. At least they had some softener material to protect the edges.

Traction motor we installed a while back at the railroad went back out. After tandem picking it last time with my 70 ton and the 100 ton, decided we could probably get it with just the 100 ton if we could get close enough and lift off the coupler. The first time when we tandem picked it, we were going off the weights they gave us for lifting, and it didn't weigh as much as they said it would.

Units at a 3 screen movie theatre. 3 units to change out, one on each end of the building, and the center one. I kind of stepped it off, and it was raining pretty good, so I gambled and just set up in the middle of the building, hoping I could reach each end. Of course if I guessed wrong- we were going to get to move the 100 ton three times in the rain.

But the chicken way out was to set up for 2 units and move for the last one. One set up if we were lucky, two set ups would have been a sure thing, three set ups if I gambled and went "big pig" and tried to do them all, and couldn't reach either outside one. But I'm lazy and willing to take a chance, worked out fine this time, could have made another 10' away easy.:)

Cell phone tower. 260' tall, said they could stack the rest with their climbing pole if I could stack 200'. Went the day before and set up, water setting all over the site in the rock and out in the trees. Must have a rock shelf bottom with clay on top and all the water seals up on it. Crane sunk pretty good even with the fresh big rock on top.

Finished up the week out at the kids museum with the roofers again. Trash bags and some more TPO rolls. I think I'm done on the mudhole side, they are getting ready to put in their greenspace and curb and gutter, and I don't think I'll be able to get into that side any more. I'll find out Monday though, they called this afternoon (saturday) and they ran out of insulation, so I'll be back monday afternoon.

The dumpster was a little further away friday afternoon also. This is 144' radius (with 157' of boom), Lmi says good for 2,400 lbs yet. I'm going to have to set it up at the shop, with something on the end to catch, and see just how far it will boom down with all of the main out. The book only shows 140', and I thought the computer would stop there, but it let me go right through that. 20191101_141305.jpg 20191101_141444.jpg 20191101_142938.jpg

One last wall panel at the kids museum, after I put up some insulation for the roofers. A latching lock boom, is not handy for telescoping in and out under a overhang.

Fuel tanks for the new generators at the hospital. Came in clocked on its side for height issues with the valves. Installer says they usually just set them on the ground and roll them, no room on this site for that, and it slopes hard toward the trees and powerlines, so no setting it down to roll it. Two winches and two lines on the RT did the trick. Rolled it in the air.

One of my guys finishing up shingles at the motel. Took the 70 ton over there to have a little more main boom than the RT. This side is flatter so not as much set up issues either.

What does the boat weigh? The trailer looks lacking in the axle and wheel/tire department.

Just under 70,000. Its a special boat hauling trailer, custom built. We are in his lot about 1/4 mile from the boat launch. Had to have it that far back on the trailer because of the prop/ rudder and keel. I think he hauls some pretty big house boats on it. I would guess they are 20,000 lb axles.

Loaded up and moved a amusement ride to a storage area. I'd been putting this one off for a while because we've been pretty busy, rained this week so we went over and moved it. 20191106_110255.jpg 20191106_115850.jpg 20191106_154841.jpg

Offloaded the two new generators for the hospital project. Tier 2, limited to under 500 hrs a year, unless there is a catastrophic event, then they can run them all they want, and the epa doesn't care. (per the cat salesman)20191108_080236.jpg 20191108_080309.jpg 20191108_134943.jpg

Wrecker dragged the flipped manlift up to the road, but he wouldn't load it. It was on a steep road, I decided I probably couldn't get anything bigger set up on the hillside and just took the old 25 ton grove.

I got snuggled up close to it. Boom gears are stripped, so its in "free swing" with the counterweight and boom.

No room and no fun. Dumpster, retaining wall, electrical box and all the brick for the house in the way. It took all morning, but between the winch on the trailer, chains and binders, come a longs, and some creative crane work, we got it loaded.

We ended up not getting it picked like it is in the first two pictures, had to run some lines back to the counterweight also to get it to pick level.
