Had a busy morning, I had written up my 4th ticket for a job when I stopped at hardee's for lunch- I finished a job with the 70 ton first thing this morning, then three more little jobs with the mack/national. 9 set up and teardowns (4 set ups- 5 teardowns) and about two hours of driving in 5 hours. Rocking and rolling. Its so rare that all the jobs went off, everthing was right and just from job to job to job.
Anyways, first pics are of the county culvert replacement. This was a old poured in place lid on wing walls and embankments. They wanted to put in a larger culvert because the water goes over the road on a hard rain.
Of course it rains a bunch on the week they had scheduled to replace it. The power lines ran right on top of the centerline of the road- it crossed from on ditch to the other side right on top of the crossing, so we had to have the power company come drop those, the huge ones in the background up high stayed.
