I am showing two different chains for this machine one with a 2" bushing and the other w/ a 2 1/8" bushing.
On the 2" bushing chain---new is 90mm and 100% wore is 83mm
On the 2 1/8 bushing chain---new is 95.5mm and 100% wore is 89mm
Your internal wear for both chains new is 686mm and 100% wore is 704mm
***stretch your chain tight and measure across 5 pins center to center to get your internal wear.
Good luck, Quicktrax

Two quick ways to tell if your excavator chain is worn out.

First check the front idler support blocks. If they are sticking out the ends of the track frames, you are running on scrap metal.

Second, look at the links bending around the front idlers. If the outside links are spread out so you can just about stick your finger in there, you are still riding on scrap metal.

Keep in mind that you can run that way for as long as you can stand putting the tracks back on.

Whats the pros / cons (apart from the obvious working in tight area's etc) for a zero tail swing digger. Can they lift the same weight / more expensive to fix?
