Suzanne Downing, our local news purveyor, did a recent piece, interviewing local recovery providers about EVs.

Everything seems to be electric on them. I don't know if you can even open the doors if the battery is dead. When you pull the handle, the window drops a half inch because the seal is a channel it has to clear. I had to put car seats in my in-laws' for my kids and I had to lean the seats forward in the process. Even that has an electric doohickey for the latch.

Been seeing pictures of this. A jeep/ jodog, with a electric battery and drive motor. They are going to have charging areas like a truckstop fuel island where you just swap jeeps.

The drive axle on the battery part is a steering axle also. But I don't know many drivers who are going to back that rig up.

Also, I've been reading about a company putting batteries and electric drive wheels in the trailer, rather than the truck. It regen brakes to charge battery.

Would be curious as to expense, costs of unit by mile or use or contractual. Calc out to miles driven whether affects bottom line more than fuel or not and what as to liability for insurance? Your coverage or add on cost?
