Hi Guys,
I posted this on another members thread, who had a similar issue with a Deere 644 Loader, but was told I might get better support on the excavator forums.
I have a 200D LC that starts up everyday, no issues, and will run for about 20 minutes or so. Then the machine dies out as if not getting any fuel. The machine will not start back up, just cranks over. However, wait about 20 minutes and the machine will fire back up and run for a few minutes. Come back the next day, same issue. Both fuel filters have been replaced. Neither of them were excessively dirty. I have had similar problems with other Deere machines and it was always the lift pump. I replaced the lift pump and same issue. I found that the first filter was empty after the machine shut down. I figured there may be a bad o-ring on the filter housing. I then disconnected the filter and connected to hoses together. No changes. The second filter has pressure when the machine shuts down. I believe that means the machine is holding its fuel prime, but I could be wrong. I also drained the tank to see if there was any debris (plastic bag) being sucked into the hoses.
I know it is not frozen fuel because I had this problem when the weather warm as well. I am in the northeast and we have just been getting a cold blast the past 2-3 weeks.
Thanks for any help guys!!
