i was going to go with a1 1/2 but after looking at these holes I figured smaller would be easier. I do want to build a few larger bars though. How does the Milwaukee drill work for you? Is it auto feed?Thanks for the info. I went with an 1-1/2" bar but that's a little to big for the smaller jobs.
I went with Sunnen hone drive parts, 5/8 NC u-joints and thread to spindle adapter. Also was able to find a 5/8 NC male to Morse taper adapter to fit my Milwaukee mag drill.

What’s the model on that Milwaukee?My Milwaukee is manual feed, low two speed model, #3 Morse taper and adjustable base. Works Great.
