I’ve got a D6M LGP serial # 2RN00495 it’s loosing fluid out of the left final drive. There are no visible external leaks so I’m assuming it could be leaking internally back into the transmission. It doesn’t loose fluid very quickly but I would still like to know how extensive of a repair this may be.
I am also loosing fluid from the torque converter, there is what I’m guessing is an inspection plate on the bottom of the converter housing that the fluid is leaking from. Two questions about this, is the inspection plate supposed to be sealed and if so is the housing between the engine and torque converter supposed to have fluid in it?
