Forgot to post an update. The loader is fixed it ended up being a faulty ECM and the transmission speed sensor. Replaced them and all is good! It was nice that the smaller loader ecms came pre-programmed.
Here is the ECM location. If you require an electrical schematic to assist with your diagnostics that will require a Serial Number because there were changes made during the production run of the four different models of 914G.
It may also be worth noting that an ECM failure is almost always the end of a troubleshooting tree in electrical diagnostics; they are expensive and non-refundable. I would suggest making darn sure the ECM is faulty before condemning it. Good luck!
