Hi everyone, joined the forum a few months back and this is my first post.

Our company has been working on a 2017 Cat 259D that will intermittently shut off, dash stays on. You could run it for a couple hours sometimes and other times 20-30 minutes and it dies, like your turning the key off and on really fast. It will start right back up. We've replaced the battery disconnect switch and cable, main fuses and bus bar, starter and fuel relays, cab ground strap, all large fused relays on backside of cab. Cleaned all powers and grounds we could find. Also found fuel return hose to be leaking so replaced that. It then lasted a few weeks with no issues and it started doing it again. Replaced the ignition switch and then no issues for 4-5 weeks. Last time we looked at it, unplugged all main connectors under cab and blew out, now it's been a week with no issues. Still think it will happen again, needing help with possible ideas. Thanks in advance.

So you have the all-singing all-dancing Advanced Display. When the problem occurs what Diagnostic Codes (Active or Logged) pop up, if any.?

Have you checked anything in regard to the fuel system.?
Currently no codes active or logged. The last we looked was when we replaced the ignition switch and we used Diesel Laptop program and no codes through that either. At the beginning there were low power and communication codes, and coolant temp fault on screen. Since the work we've done, there are now no codes that occur when it dies.

In that case how about telling us what if anything has been checked in the fuel system.
Initially we replaced fuel primer pump and fuel filter. Then found the return hose to be bad and replaced it. We also performed injector cut off test, which tested ok. I've tested the machine for over 2 hour and it will run normal.
