I have never used threadlock on anything and and never will and have never had bolts come loose!!!!
Guess everybody has their own opinion on the crap BUT I have been stuck trying to get bolts out that some A**HOLE put the crap on them!!! Just my 02!

Hydraulic cylinder piston retaining nut on a JLG 8042 lift cylinder, *apply loctite, tighten 600ft/lbs and stake nut in 4 places* that one was a rough one to say the least. It calls for it so on it went
