Retaining wall footings that double as scower wall along a wash 11 foot wide an average of 9 foot deep will be 12 foot at the deepest point
Footing will be 16 in hes thick and top of footing will be about 3 foot below center of the wash I think it's over kill but that wash runs excess of 250 cfs and the wall will be in the bank of it so
Those steps are not supposed to be there but they are solid granite boulders and they are not going to hammer out short of bring in a rock drill to pattern them to break so the inspector and engineer said Dowl into the rock with rebar since the boulders are in the water side of the footing
It took a week to dig 120 ish feet I got about 2 days left all said it's about 700 yards we dug out about 180 to 200 to go maybe a little less but we have to throw everything twice to get it out of the way and the pile will just barely fit when we are done
