Did you ever find a solution I'm having a similar problem but when my machine is on now I'm getting 10 large bang from the lines out of the brake vales assembly . So I took the valve apart everything seems good checked poppet valves and screen. break light warning comes on and off randomly

Your transmission is in what's called limp home mode. I would check your speed sensors in the side of the transmission case. There is a turbine speed sensor and a gear speed sensor, they are the same prt# . There are shims that fit on the threaded end of sensor so be sure and reuse them.
Have a '91 621 that tranny slips in 3rd and 4th. 1st and 2nd are fine. Any ideas?
I would check your pressure and the control solenoids on trans control valve.
