Hi all. I have a 1999 331 bobcat excavator that has hydraulic issues. Here is what i have so far.
The stick out and in is very slow, bucket open and close is very slow, left final drive is slow.
When i stick out and bucket open they both move faster. The same when i close bucket and stick in, they both are faster. All else seems at normal speed. I have completed pressure tests at the main pump they are at pump 1, 2300psi 2, 2600psi and 3 2600 psi under load. The other odd thing i found was that there is about 500psi constant pressure on pump 1 when no load is applied.
Im scratching my head here and any help would be great.

Good day Dino
The constant pressure om one pump is correct as the manufacturer uses one pump for pilot pressure 500 psi seems a little on the high side, first check I suggest you make is that the spools for the crawlers are actually returning completely to the neutral position.
Kind regards

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are crawlers?

Sorry also Dino
Terminology is a real issue in the globe - crawlers = tracks come back if this is still confusing.
Kind regards

Ya i thought you meant tracks. Im an old lineman so i understand that there is different terminology for tools and equipment.
Im going to reset all relief valves and do a flow test. I didnt see anything wrong with the spool valves to the final drives.

All tests are good except when i hold open the stick there is only about 1000psi meassured at the pump. Could there be port valve issue?

Hi Dino
Yes that is a possibility just switch it over and see if the pressure issue shifts.
Kind regards
